He governs one of the seven great cities of the ancient world. Exploit the natural resources of their lands, participate in the unstoppable march of progress, develop your business relationships and assert your military power. Leave your mark on the history of civilization by building an architectural wonder that transcends through the times to come. A game of 7 Wonders takes place over three Ages, each represented by its corresponding deck (first Age I cards, then Age II, and finally Age III). Each of these Ages is played in the same way, allowing each player to play 6 cards per Era in order to develop his city and build his Wonders. At the end of each Era, each player compares his military strength with that of his two neighboring cities (those belonging to the players to his right and left).
