Drakkar Tum Tum

Drakkar Tum Tum is a card game in which you bring to life a crew of intrepid Vikings on the high seas with your mighty ship. Navigating such a ship through the dangers of the open sea requires good coordination and a skilled drummer to set the beat. We'll see if the gods are on your side!

During the game, the players chant "Drakkar...Tum...Tum...Tum", and on the third "Tum", the active player must place a card on one of the ship cards that make up the longliner, and he draws a new one while the chant continues. Upon reaching the third "Tum", it is the next player's turn, and so on. However, the cards that are placed can change the pace. If a danger is revealed, there will only be two "Tum", with a second danger, only one. If a third danger is revealed, the players lose the game. Hazards can be covered with certain cards to bring the original rhythm back. Other action cards can reverse the turn order, for example. During the game, players can discover island cards. If they discover three islands and can finish off the draw pile, they win.

A player who plays out of turn or out of rhythm does not draw a new card. Everyone also loses if a player runs out of cards to play.
