For the first time in the Carcassonne universe, players will work as a team to overcome a common challenge. But in addition to offering a cooperative mode, the material in this edition can serve as an expansion and integrate with the base game and any of its other versions.

The game takes place according to the classic rules of Carcassonne: in each turn, the players will take a tile from the common reserve and place it in full view of the rest of the players, fitting one or more sides with the previous tiles. Little by little, a single map will be formed, which will report points based on the completed projects (roads, cities, etc.). In this edition, for the first time, all players must cooperate to reduce the fog and spawn as few ghosts as possible and survive for three days. If too many ghosts have appeared or days have passed before enough points have been achieved, we will lose the game.
